The University of Stuttgart launched the technology management interdisciplinary study program in response to the call by industry for engineers that can offer not only engineering science knowledge but also bring business management know-how with them.
The nexus of approximately 75 percent engineering skills training with another 25 percent of fundamentals of business management lets graduates build bridges between enterprise areas characterized by both technical and business management challenges. They are deployed in business operations where being able to approach work on complex tasks from different angles is crucial.
Fundamentally, you should be interested in grappling with technical and business management questions or problem solutions. The foundations for this, above all, are mathematics and physics as well as business management. The lectures are in German, but having a good command of English is advantageous, since the professional literature is frequently in English.
