In addition to focusing on the academic aspects while in Stuttgart, you will need a place to live, finance your education, or simply find out how to get to and from the University on public transit. We hope this information resource will help you get started on putting it all together for a first-rate educational experience and an enjoyable life in Stuttgart.
Public transport
The public transport network in the Stuttgart region is operated by Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart (VVS), Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB) [de] and Deutsche Bahn (DB). Because the transport network in Stuttgart is so extensive, you do not need a car here. It is better to use the bus and train instead. For timetable information, please visit the websites of the above-mentioned providers. You can use the map of the University of Stuttgart to find your destination both on Campus Vaihingen Campus and Campus City Center.
