Dealing with the problems, challenges, and demands of acoustics is routine in many fields and professions. The spectrum of tasks, not just in enterprises and engineering bureaus in all industries but also in public agencies and institutions, ranges from noise abatement to acoustical product design.
Seven of the University of Stuttgart’s institutes, the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IBP), and Stuttgart‘s Research Institute for Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engines (FKFS) marshal their skills and excellence on behalf of an integrated knowledge transfer in the acoustics field.
This study program is designed for anyone interested in continuing their education with practically oriented and grounded studies in the field of acoustics. The program is mainly intended for engineers confronting acoustics tasks in the fields of mechanical, automotive, aerospace, electrical, as well as construction and environmental engineering. Those with a first degree in other engineering or scientific disciplines and an interest in the subject can also enroll in this study program to expand or alter the scope of their professional activities.
