Detail information on building areas
The nearest public transport stop is the bus stop "Katharinenhospital" (bus lines 40, 42, N10), which is located in the immediate vicinity of the building. The main entrance is not wheelchair-accessible due to steps. Wheelchair access to building section D is via a stairlift, located between building sections C and D. To get there please use the entrance to building section B (automatic door) on Geschwister-Scholl-Strasse, then take the lift to the 1st floor and go through building section C, following the signs for “Personalrat”. The stairlift is located next to the entrance to the “Personalrat”. The stairlift is open to all and does not require a Eurokey to control it.
The main entrance is on Keplerstrasse (southwest side of the building). Steps in front of the entrance, angled vestibule to the staircase or elevator.
Entrance doors and fire doors in the hallways (only in some cases open) are poorly contrasted. Step markings are missing. The hallways and stairwells are poorly lit. The building is very labyrinthine and some of the room numbers are not easy to find.
There is a university parking lot in front of house B, and two public parking spaces along Keplerstrasse (in front of no. 17 Keplerstrasse).
Elevators in house D are wheelchair accessible and mirrored.
The entrance doors are not automated and can only be opened with effort. The doors in the hallways can only be opened with great effort.
The nearest restroom (freely accessible) can be reached via the mezzanine floor of house C. The door to the stairwell / elevator area is not automated.

- Description
The lecture hall is located in an annex and can be reached via the courtyard. The rear entrance is wheelchair-accessible, but the door to the lecture hall opens towards the ramp. For wheelchair users, accessibility through the front entrance is limited, as existing ramps are too steep and the doors open towards the ramp. Also, the entrance door has a threshold and the second door can only be opened with assistance.
- Spaces for wheelchair
- Loose seating.
- Technology for people with hearing impairment
- No microphone system in the lecture hall.
M 24.12
- Description
The lecture hall is not wheelchair accessible, as the elevator can only be operated with a key. Another option is the way through the escape door of the Casino IT. Here, too, a key is required.
