Climate Summer School: Workshop leaders and speakers wanted

May 31, 2022

The first ever Climate Summer School at the University of Stuttgart will take place from October 4 to 7, 2022. In lectures, workshops, and other interactive activities, an interdisciplinary group of 40 select students from the University of Stuttgart will address the causes and various aspects of climate change, countermeasures and adaptive measures from various disciplines as well as the social and political perspectives. The aim of the summer school is to broaden the knowledge and perspective of motivated students and to build networks between students, lecturers, and experts from different fields.

The summer school is coordinated by a team of PhD students and the Green Office with Prof. Hendrik Lens (IFK) as the scientific director. The organizing team is looking for motivated doctoral candidates and experts from various fields who are researching climate change, its socio-political impacts and issues, or adaptive and countermeasures and who would like to share their expertise in a lecture, workshop, or other interactive format.
