Ungendered Values is a 24-month project that will contribute to understanding researchers' entrepreneurial behavior in a time, in which other types of entrepreneurship are socially desired and expected, a new social moral of science is spreading, a (new) global crisis has arisen, and more gender equality in society is being gained. Furthermore, the project aims to analyze critically the scientific discourse that associates some value-laden motivations of some types of entrepreneurship with men and women. The proposal of creating a “female entrepreneurship” based on values and motivations may become a double-edged sword. In effect, it may reinforce the idea that entrepreneurship is gendered, which, in turn, runs the risk of gendering values. Arguably, the idea of gendered values has ethical and ontological consequences that have to be theoretically and empirically interrogated.
