This time, the Speaker Series was delivered as a breakout session as part of the EXPO2022 and was moderated by Professor Peter Middendorf, Vice Rector for Knowledge and Technology Transfer at the University of Stuttgart. The stories of how four Stuttgart startups were founded were presented in Deep Dive.
The first speaker to be welcomed was Lukas Teichmann from NODE Robotics. NODE offers plug&play software solutions for autonomous intralogistics. The start-up focuses on driverless transport vehicles and mobile robots. NODE's software solutions provide the basis for a widespread distribution of autonomous mobile robots in production and intralogistics.
The next company to introduce itself was Ventus Technologies, which focuses on energy optimization for transportation. In addition to traffic safety, wind also play a role in terms of energy consumption. Wind forecasts on roads are thus a great advantage for cars and trucks.
Julian Weitz from Makersite focused on the topic of sustainability in supply chains. The aim of this start-up is to achieve a net-zero balance in supply chains. The company’s solutions target not only automation in the reporting system, but also eco-design and sustainable procurement in general.
The fourth speaker, Mirko Ross from Asvin, addressed the topic of cyber threats on the internet. Asvin provides a toolbox for managing cyber threats and the lifecycles of IoT devices, contributing to cybersecurity in the supply chain.
