The University of Stuttgart is ranked eighth among the leading research institutions in Germany in the field of computer science.
This is the result of the 2020 University Ranking for Computer Science, published by Guide2Research, one of the leading portals for computer science research. In a worldwide comparison, the University of Stuttgart was placed 133rd.
The ranking included the publication management of nine renowned computer scientists at the University of Stuttgart, who together achieved an h-index of 559 and can show a total of 2938 publications in the digital bibliography and library project DBLP. The h-Index (also known as Hirsch-Index) compares the number of publications with their respective citations and is thus an indicator of the worldwide reputation of a scientist.
