This year, the University of Stuttgart will once again be appearing at the GAIN annual conference and will be on-hand to provide information about opportunities in science and research at the University of Stuttgart. Rector Prof. Wolfram Ressel will also participate and, together with other panelists, offer advice and discuss their personal and institutional experiences, the various career options, and their associated challenges in the "Natural Sciences and Engineering Forum”. Furthermore, Ressel is involved in the workshop "Female Career Advancement – from Equal Opportunities to Diversity in STEM", along with other panelists, discussing measures that can make a university (more) attractive to female scientists.
At the Talent Fair accompanying the conference, Dr. Wolfgang Holtkamp, Senior Advisor on International Affairs, will be present at the Stuttgart booth to answer visitors' questions and provide information about specific career opportunities at the University of Stuttgart.
Together, the GAIN Annual Conference and the Talent Fair form the largest networking and information event aimed at internationally based scientists interested in pursuing a career in Germany. The main organizers are the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Research Foundation (DFG).
