About the CWUR University Ranking
The CWUR University Ranking was established in 2012 and evaluates universities based on seven indicators: Education, Employability, Faculty, Research, High Quality Publications, Influence, and Citations. The rankings are not based on surveys or the analyzation of self-reported data from the universities themselves. Instead, they rely on objective indicators such as research performance (40 percent), teaching quality (25 percent), the quality of the faculties (10 percent), and the number of alumni employed in top positions (25 percent).
