The Professional School of Education Stuttgart-Ludwigsburg (PSE), invites all teaching staff and students who will still be at the university in 2020 to submit innovative ideas that contribute to the general organization of teacher training courses in Stuttgart/Ludwigsburg: applications must be submitted by 9 December 2019.
Every day, teachers and students are involved in many areas of teacher training or teacher training study programs – they know what they are doing, see what needs to change or what is lacking and where innovative ideas are needed to bring about change. The five partner associate universities of the PSE would like to support their commitment and innovative ideas with this annual call for proposals.
We are searching for innovative cooperative projects that include not only professional, methodological or educational approaches, but also interdisciplinary projects that focus on interdisciplinary issues. This year, initiatives that develop concrete solutions using innovative teaching and learning concepts in a technical, methodological or organizational way to solve the problem of the physical distances between the partner universities will be treated preferentially. Such initiatives would make it possible for trainee teachers to participate regardless of their study location. By submitting your ideas, you will be actively involved in designing future teacher training study programs.
Possible initiatives might be:
- Development of cooperative cross-university study programs, or the cooperative further development of existing courses, including technical, didactic or organizational concepts that tackle the physical distance between the partner universities
- Cross-university conferences and workshops on subject-specific or interdisciplinary topics in teacher training
- Cooperative research projects on the subject of teacher training
- Initiatives for improving networks for trainee teachers
Applications must be submitted by Monday 09.12.2019 at the latest. The PSE director and representative from all five universities will select the most innovative idea from the applications submitted.
