Publish!

The University of Stuttgart is involved in an impressive variety of research projects. Publications make these visible.

The Publish! series

The series “Publish!” was created to acknowledge outstanding publications by the university’s scientists and to increase their visibility. The series supplements the already existing press releases and notifications, which are published on the university homepage, in the university’s own publications such as forschung leben, and in the social media.

The magazine of the University of Stuttgart

forschung leben covers exciting topics related to the University of Stuttgart’s research areas.

Publication guidelines

The university agrees on generally applicable standards for publications. Publications by researchers of the University of Stuttgart should be clearly attributed to the University of Stuttgart and to their authors. The publication guidelines therefore include information on the uniform designation of the university and recommendations for identification management. In this way, the personal performance record of researchers and also the reputation of the university in rankings can be increased. In addition, the guidelines contain information on how to handle multi-institutional affiliations and on the university bibliography. They refer not only to publications in the conventional sense, but also to contributions in social media. The guidelines entered into force on 1 August 2020 and apply to all members of the university.
