The collaborative research center 1244 Adaptive Envelopes and Structures for Tomorrow’s Built Environment invites you to attend this year’s summer lecture series entitled Adaptivität als Utopie (Adaptivity as a Utopia). The first lecture, “Experiments in Environment”, will be held by Mona Mahall, HafenCity University Hamburg.
Mona Mahall is head of the sub-project Architectural Design Concepts for Adaptive Envelopes and Structures and is also actively involved in SFB 1244. She is a professor of architecture and art at the HafenCity University Hamburg, where she explores the relationship between architecture and critical and reflective art practices. Using various media and formats, such as exhibitions, installations, typologies and texts, she develops projects that involve both pre-existing artistic and architectural positions and translates these into the current technological age. Mona Mahall’s works are exhibited and published internationally.
Event language: German
All interested parties are welcome to attend the lecture and the traditional post-lecture discussion, where wine and pretzels will be on offer!
