Join the Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg on July 10th and Experience Research Transfer Live On-Stage.

At the University of Stuttgart and numerous other research institutions in Baden-Württemberg, there is a variety of projects with the potential to contribute to the solution of current and future global challenges. Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg gives a stage to these unique and innovative projects and ideas, connecting and creating visibility for early career researchers from all different kinds of fields.

We are happy to announce that out of a number of high-quality applications, our committee chose eleven candidates to participate in this year’s pitch event. From Breaking the Wall of Time to Breaking the Wall of Cancer Therapy and beyond – our promising candidates for the Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg come from a variety of disciplines and institutions all over “The Länd”.

On July 10th, they will present their research-based innovations in 3-minute pitches on the Falling Walls Lab stage in front of an interdisciplinary jury of experts. The winner of this pitch competition will get the chance to participate in the global Falling Walls Lab finale at the Science Summit in Berlin this November and to be awarded the “Science Breakthrough of the Year”.

Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg is hosted by the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) at the University of Stuttgart, together with Wissensfabrik e. V., and co-organized by the Elements4Founding project (supported by Vector Stiftung), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), HEiKA, as well as the Universities of Heidelberg and Konstanz.

The event will take place on July 10th at the research campus ARENA2036, guest admission starts at 2:00 pm. Our atmosphere of innovation and research will be accompanied by regional food and drinks. We warmly welcome all interested parties to participate in this event.
