What can catalysis do? Improve our lives in the long run! Hands-on chemistry in the science exhibition at Stuttgart City Hall.
This interactive exhibition offers exciting insights into the current research of the Collaborative Research Center 1333. It shows what catalysis is and why the use of catalysts in chemical processes is so important. It becomes clear that catalysis is already encountered in many places in everyday life and how research in the Collaborative Research Center 1333 can help to sustainably improve our lives.
Visitors to the exhibition can slip into the role of a researcher themselves and work in a glove box like those used in chemical laboratories. The life-size replica of a pore invites you to experience how a molecule transforms in this confined space. Our scientists are also looking forward to introducing school classes to the world of catalysis.
Open guided tours on Thursday, February 13, 2025, and Thursday, February 20, 2025, both at 4 p.m., meeting point first floor Stuttgart City Hall, no registration necessary.
Interactive evening event CO2: Raw material for a sustainable future? on Thursday, February 20, 2025, 6 p.m.
Guided tours for school classes from grade 10, appointments by e-mail to Yasemin Polikar, appointments possible on weekdays in the morning from 9 am.
