Droplet dynamic processes play an important role in the production of food and medicines, in space travel and in the automotive industry. Dr. Anne Geppert researches the impact of single droplets on different surfaces. She is a research associate in the International Research Training Group "Droplet Interaction Technologies" (DROPIT) and is responsible for the coordination of experimental projects.
In the video, she also talks about where her motivation came from during her doctoral degree, and the challenges posed by being a woman in a male-dominated research field.
